Found Poem

What I must do is all that concerns me
Not what people think.
Sometimes we don't do things
So that others won't know
We want to do them.

Maybe everybody in the whole world's scared
Of each other.

It is no shame to have a dirty face
The shame comes when you
Keep it dirty.
Nobody would cast away their good name.
There is an hour to come
When all of us shall cast aside
Our veils.

I wish'd to live
Without committing any fault at any time
I would conquer
All that company leads me into.

Doubt creeps in.
I might have been better,
Had I less frequently rejected
Those meaning whispers.

But they don't think
What they say
Before they open their mouths.
So I don't care what you think

As long as its about me.

You ought to spend a little more time
Trying to make something
Of yourself
And a little less time trying to impress
People.
You might be better off.
